Gwen Stefani replaces Gavin Rossdale with Blake Shelton in Photoshopped throwback picture

Gwen Stefani posted a sweet throwback picture on Instagram – only eagle-eyed fans noticed that she actually Photoshopped an old picture and replaced her ex-husband, rockstar Gavin Rossdale, with her current beau, country singer Blake Shelton.
Stefani, 50, was celebrating performing her hit ‘Happy Anywhere’ with boyfriend Shelton at the Wednesday 2020 Academy of Country Music Awards in Nashville by sharing a photo of the two together during the younger years. As they weren’t actually together back then, it had been Photoshopped.
She captioned the throwback, where she’s posing in full rockstar regalia next to a young, Photoshopped Shelton rocking his mulllet, “#datenight@acmawards w my boo @blakeshelton gx.”
While some fans were impressed with the Photoshopped picture, others were offended after they realized she had shared the picture before in 2014 to celebrate her wedding anniversary with Rossdale.
One commenter wrote, “This is kind of a slap in the face to Gavin,” which received more than 200 likes, while another agreed with her choice and encouraged her, writing, “what an incredible upgrade from the original.” Another referenced reported infidelity rumors, writing, “Well if he didn’t want to get photoshopped out of their memories he shouldn’t have been…”
Stefani and Rossdale were married from 2002 (they wed in an elaborate ceremony, complete with an ombre pink gown that she latter re-wore a version of on the cover of her Christmas album, proving she loves a remake) and later split in 2015.
Stefani and Shelton met when they were both hosts on the music television show The Voice and started dating after their divorces.
They weren’t the only mega performers at the ACM Awards. Taylor Swift sang her hit ‘Betty’ and Shelton’s ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, also performed.
